Training programme for service providers in the hospitality industry in Northern Ireland
The Equality Commission has developed an equality programme specifically for service providers in the hospitality industry.
Aim: To raise awareness of equality law as it relates to the provision of goods, facilities and service in the hospitality sector in Northern Ireland.
Objectives 
- To identify relevant equality legislation and what it means for your business
- To explain how discrimination can occur with examples from settlements and cases
- To develop a service provision equality policy
The training will consist of an interactive workshop outlining the business case for equality, the law and what it means in practice along with examples of recent caselaw and settlements.
Who should attend
The training will benefit managers, supervisors, front of house staff and HR staff in all areas of the hospitality industry.
This training can be tailored for your organisation and has already been delivered to NITB trainers, bars, hotels and councils.
