The theme for Intercultural & Anti-Racism Week 2007 is Improving Government Services to Minority Ethnic Groups, including migrant workers and Travellers. The week will focus on:

Housing

Policing

During the week there will be a series of signature events on these areas and other policy concerns, North and South. Intercultural and Anti-Racist Week 2007 will provide a focus on Government departments and agencies as well as local and regional authorities in terms of delivery of effective services to black and minority ethnic groups, including migrant workers and Travellers. In recent years significant improvements have been made in these areas but gaps and deficiencies in service provision remain and need to be addressed
